JORDAN B. SCATES COHORT

$200.00

3-WEEK SMALL GROUP MENTORSHIP STYLE COHORT
THURSDAYS • 9:30–11:00 PM • OAKLAND, CA

TRILLIANT STUDIOS [ 130 Linden St ]
5 - 7 DANCERS ONLY

This is not another choreography class or training series.

The cohort is a small-group space for dancers who want more individualized attention on how they actually show up in movement.

Across three weeks, I will work closely with each dancer to identify the habits, choices, and details affecting their execution and performance. The focus is less on learning more material and more on understanding what happens once the choreography is already in your body.

Expect direct feedback, repetition, correction, conversation, and space to experiment.

We’ll look at things like:

  • what reads and what doesn’t

  • where movement loses intention

  • how you approach musical moments

  • performance habits

  • personal movement choices

  • confidence and commitment

  • how to make choreography feel like yours without changing it

  • what you specifically need to develop next

This experience will be highly individualized. With only five dancers in the room, each participant will receive consistent feedback and coaching throughout the process.

LEVEL
Open level with prior dance experience required. Dancers should be comfortable learning choreography and receiving detailed feedback.

INVESTMENT
